Boy in Pajama Bottoms, Missing 11-Year-Old, Hit Dog, and More

Here's a look at the Medfield police log for Saturday and Sunday. 

Saturday, June 29

1:09 a.m., Colonial Road. Caller reported a large moving truck in the road. Gone on arrival.

9:37 a.m., Main Street. Report of a dog bite at Shaw's Plaza. No transport needed.

12:46 p.m., Kenney Road. E911 caller reported a possible seizure at this address. Transport refused.

5:23 p.m., Main Street. Police pulled over a Chevy Tahoe belonging to a Holliston man. A warrant was issued for the arrest of a 47-year-old man who lives at Pinecrest Road in Holliston for driving with a suspended license.

6:04 p.m., Indian Hill Road. Norfolk Police called to report a missing 11-year-old child in the Indian Hill area. The boy is about five feet tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, wearing a green shirt, white shorts, blue hat. The boy was later found by Norfolk Police. 

6:30 p.m., Foundry Street. E911 caller reported a vehicle filled with teens throwing bottles. Gone on arrival.

8:52 p.m., Newport Lane. Caller reported kids driving all-terrain vehicles. Gone on arrival.

9:12 p.m., South Street. Caller said someone hit a deer in front of 352 South Street. Police determined deer was still alive. Animal Control responded. The deer was moved to the side of the road. The driver was a John Crowder Road resident.

Sunday, June 30

12:03 a.m., Johns Avenue. Well-being check. All is well.

12:34 a.m., High Street. Police helped a vehicle on Route 27.  

8:05 a.m., 10:12 a.m., 12:15 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's Church. 

8:34 a.m., Main Street. Traffic control at the United Church of Christ. 

1:51 p.m., South Street. Walk-in report of a dog blocking traffic on South Street. Gone on arrival. 

2:10 p.m., Indian Hill Road. E911 caller requested an ambulance for her daughter who injured her knee.

2:21 p.m., Foundry Street. Caller said she lost her wallet. 

2:25 p.m., Main Street. Walk-in report from a man who said he saw someone try to steal plants that are planted in a pot outside of Shaws. 

6 p.m., West Street. Caller from the vet clinic said when she went to feed the animals, there was a boy at the front door wearing pajama bottoms and looking inside the building. When she spoke to him, he said he wanted to see what kind of animals were inside then he ran off toward the American Legion. Police said there is a function at the Legion with kids and he will check the area.
