Jazz 'Round Town - Medfield - Sat., April 12 to benefit Ellington trip

As part of the "Dollars for Duke" campaign, members of the Medfield High School Jazz Band will be out and about in Medfield on Saturday, April 12, performing in small groups for "Jazz 'Round Town" to raise money for its trip to Lincoln Center for the Essentially Ellington competition with Wynton Marsalis, May 8-10.

Take a break from Saturday errands to catch a little jazz at Needham Bank, Blue Moon, Lovell's or Starbucks and put a donation into the top hats! All performances are rain or shine.

Two additional April 12 Jazz 'Round Town features:  

1. Shopping for Mother's Day, graduation or First Communion gifts? Purchase anything at Accents gift shop at Lovell's the weekend of April 12 & 13 and the Jazz Band will earn 10%! (MMA volunteers will also be hosting a bake sale at Lovell's.)

2. Spring cleaning? At Needham Bank on Saturday, April 12, dispose of your spare change by dropping it into the bank coin machine and having it go directly to the Ellington campaign. 

Donations to the campaign can also be made out & mailed to Medfield Music Association, P.O. Box 115, Medfield, MA. Please be sure and note: "Jazz Band" or "Essentially Ellington" on the check.
