Lindsay Briggs, Neighbor

A Carver native, Lindsay started out as a reporter in 2009 at the Norwood Transcript and Bulletin after she graduated from Stonehill College.

Lindsay has worked on newspaper teams since she was in high school writing for The Heartbeat, the newspaper for Sacred Heart High School in Kingston, MA, and The Summit, the newspaper for Stonehill College, where she served as editor-in-chief her senior year.

She especially enjoys learning about different people and their experiences, and sharing them with others in her writings. One of her most memorable interviews was with a young girl who needed a bone marrow transplant. Several bone marrow drives were held, including one at Stonehill College, and Lindsay got to know the girl, who unfortunately died from her disease.
