On Sunday, Feb. 10, at Medfield’s First Parish Unitarian-Universalist Church, the Rev. Richard Stower’s sermon title will be “Abe Lincoln, Infidel." Rev. Stower writes, “From his youth, Abraham Lincoln had a feeling that his destiny was controlled by some larger force, some Higher Power. He moved away from the orthodox Christianity of his family because of what he saw as the emotional excesses of evangelicalism of Kentucky and Southern Illinois.
