UPDATE: Stoughton Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash on I-95 in Westwood Daniel Timmons, a 39-year-old man from Stoughton, was driving a 2002 Honda motorcycle traveling southbound on Route 95/Route 128 at Route 1 in Westwood when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed off the shoulder of the roadway. VIDEO: Medfield Knocked Out of Tourney by Sharp-Shooting Norwood

The Medfield High School boys’ basketball team fell to Norwood, 62-50 Tuesday in the first round of the MIAA Division 2 South Sectional State Tournament.

There was no defense for the type of shooting Norwood displayed against Medfield Tuesday as the Mustangs knocked the Warriors out of the MIAA Division 2 South Sectional State Tournament with a 62-50 first round win. Norwood hit seven 3-pointers in the first half to take a 34-25 lead into the break and finished with 10 shots made behind the arc in the game. Medfield, which never led in the game, cut the deficit to six points, 48-42, with five minutes to play in the fourth quarter before Norwood regained momentum and extended the lead back to double digits to close out the game. Norwood seniors Troy Sousa-Semper and Sean O’Neill lead the Mustangs with 13 points each. Medfield’s Johnny McCarthy was the game’s leading scorer with 16 and Drew …

Juan Torres brings 20 years of professional training that includes work with professional baseball player Troy Tulowitzki to Fitness Advantage in Medfield.

Fitness Advantage owner Kathy McLean has spent years searching for a trainer that focuses on functional movement and multi-joint action and says she found what she’s been looking for in professional trainer Juan Torres. “I think there’s a huge demand for what [Torres] does and I’m really excited that he’s got the experience … I know we have something special here with Juan and I just think that he’ll be able to offer a lot,” McLean said. Torres, who has 20 years of professional training experience, recently moved to Massachusetts from California because his fiancé “got a job offer she could not refuse.” After spending five months in Waltham, Torres and his fiancé bought a home in Norwood and he began looking for work in the area. “Two …
