Lord's Celebration Committee Wants to Feature Your Memorabilia and Memories

In preparation for the Feb. 15 celebration, the committee seeks any and all photos, letters, papers, etc., that could be included in the memory book.

  The Lord's Celebration Committee is seeking any and all memorabilia related to Lord's Department Store. The store will close on Feb. 28 after nearly 73 years in business. A celebration in honor of the store and the Kelly family will be held at Lord's on Feb. 15.  The Celebration Committee would like to scan, photocopy or translate the materials which will then be included in a memory book to be housed at the Medfield Historical Society where it will accessible for generations to come.  The committee is also seeking any and all stories related to Lord's. Those stories will be translated and included in the memory book.  In addition, the committee is looking for ways to capture voice recorded memories. Those, too, can be translated for the…
