Police Log: Smashed in Front Door and Attempted Break-In on Hearthstone Drive

Wednesday, Nov. 21 8:49 a.m., Main Street. Caller reported a smell of gas by the Mobil station and library. Fire Chief Kingsbury said the smell is from workers taking gasoline tanks out of service at Mobil station. 11:43 a.m., station. Police assisted a resident with fingerprints. 12:55 p.m., Main Street. State police dispatch reported they a call about a motor vehicle accident with no personal injury. A wrecker was needed for one vehicle. 3:14 p.m., Farm Street. Caller reported a disabled motor vehicle at the Farm Street railroad tracks. The man lost his oil pan when going over the tracks and was waiting for a tow truck.
