POLL: Have You Seen Coyotes Around Medfield?
One Patch reader reports a coyote on Cheney Pond Road on Monday.
Around 6 p.m. on Monday night, two women out for their nightly walk were surprised to see what they thought was a small deer only to soon discover it was a different animal altogether. "The coyote was standing on an incline about 30 feet from the road and seemed unfrazzled by the flash lights," they told Medfield Patch. Have you seen coyotes in Medfield? Take our poll below. And if we could just get a couple of buffalo to roam on the Hunt Club fields I would truly start to feel like I'm home on the range! Although the coyotes are undoubtedly more helpful to us because they keep the mouse population in check, which helps with Lyme disease prevention.
