Mark your calendars for the Mr. Medfield pageant.
UPDATE: 1/29/13 -- Due to due to a lack of contestants, the Council recently decided to cancel the Mr. Medfield competition. On Saturday, Feb., 9 at 7 p.m. in the Medfield High School Auditorium, the MHS Student Council will hold its first-ever Mr. Medfield male pageant. Senior boys will compete for the title of Mr. Medfield through a series of segments including an interview, a special talent, and a dance. The seniors will show off their Warrior spirit, and the MHS faculty judges will determine the winners of Mr. Medfield. Admission is $5.00 per person. Medfield Hockey's winning streak continued on Tuesday with another win.

The Medfield High School Boys Varsity Hockey team beat Westwood 4-1 on Tuesday night to win their third game of the season. They have no losses to date. Johnny Monahan stopped 30 shots to bring his season total thus far to 80 shots and 79 saves! The next game is Saturday, Dec. 22 against Holliston at 6:30 pm at the Franklin rink.

Medfield High School Boys' Varsity Basketball team played Norton on Friday and Hopkinton on Tuesday. This Friday, Dec. 21, is the home opener against Dover-Sherborn at 6:30 p.m.

The boy's varsity basketball team had a tough start to their season. Friday, Dec. 14 at Norton On Friday, they dropped a heartbreaking one point loss to Norton High School 49-48. Remy Fragola led the team with 18 points, Drew Shea shipped in with 10. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Hopkinton On Tuesday, the Big Blue traveled to undefeated Hopkinton and lossed 69-49. The Medfield “Big Blue” Boys Basketball team is getting ready to tip off the 2012-13 season this Friday, Dec. 14 in Norton. This year’s team is lead by senior co-captains Matt Pembroke and John Zimmerman. Matt will be the team’s starting point guard this year. John will be starting at the small forward position. Starting at the power forward spot will be 6’4” senior Remy Fragola. John Pendergast will get the start at the shooting guard position. The Medfield Girls Varsity Basketball team opened up their 2012 - 2013 season in style on Friday night. During the off-season, Medfield made an effort to create a much more challenging schedule. As a result of that, Medfield kicked off their season by traveling to Providence to play LaSalle Academy. LaSalle is the defending Rhode Island Division I champions and perennial powerhouse. Medfield got off to a great start in the game, extending to a 13 point lead early in the first half. But LaSalle battled back and cut that lead to 2 points by half-time (34 - 32). The Medfield Warriors will travel to the Dover-Sherborn Raiders in the teams' 47th annual Thanksgiving Day game. WHEN: 10:00 a.m. Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22 WHERE: Dover-Sherborn Regional High School, 9 Junction Street, Dover HOW MUCH: Tickets will be sold at the gate on game day for $10 general admission and $5 students/seniors.
