On Wednesday night, the Medfield Swimming and Diving team came back from winter break to beat Norton 103-83. The meet was very exciting and both teams put up great efforts. Junior Alec Haley won the 200 freestyle in 2:02.04. Senior Connor Haley won the 200 Individual Medley in 2:12.92. Haley also won the 500 freestyle in 5:05.07. Senior Peter Woodsum and Sophomore JJ Fedak came in first and second place in the 50 freestyle. Woodsum finished in a personal best time of 24.02; Fedak finished in a 25.81. Many Medfield swimmers had best times against Holliston on Dec. 19.

On Dec. 19, the Medfield High School Swimming and Diving team beat Holliston 94-78. Overall, the team performed very well and many swimmers had best times. Junior Alec Haley won the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:59.60. He also won the 500 freestyle in 5:19.83. Freshmen Colton Hall and Meredith Bertoni took first and second place in the 200 IM with times of 2:23.74 and 2:23.34 respectively. Medfield's divers swept the diving event. Here are the results from the Medfield High School Swimming/Diving team against Natick/Wayland from Dec. 17. The team will face Holliston tonight.

On Monday night, the Medfield High School Swimming and Diving team swam against Wayland and Natick at the Wayland Community Pool. The team performed well against a strong Wayland team, but was not able to win the meet. However, the Medfield boys did beat the Natick boys team with a final score of 99-86. Senior Connor Haley won the 200 and 500 freestyle with times of 1:49.64 and 4:51.82 respectively. Both are best times for the season and qualify him for the Sectional and State meets. On Wednesday night, the Medfield High School Swimming and Diving team swam Dover-Sherborn. The Medfield team had a great night of swimming and diving! The team won with a score of 93-91. Medfield won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:53.35. The team was made up of freshman Olivia Tom, Junior Alec Haley, Freshman Colton Hall, and Senior Peter Woodsum. Swimmers from Medfield are encouraged to particpate in the the 17th annual Boston Harbor 22-mile relay swim is on Friday, July 15, and the 15th annual DCR Nantasket Beach one-mile and half-mile swims are on Saturday, July 16.
