Monday, March 19: 7:07 a.m. - Woman caller reported a loose dog on Nebo Street. 2:58 p.m. – Caller from Spring Street reported he had someone at his house that reported there was a man on the railroads track behind his house with a rifle. Officer reported he would handle. At 3 p.m. the officer reported he was out with the man on the tracks near the Curve Street Bridge. Officer reported he spoke to the man and reported it was a BB gun. The man would be taking it home. 5:53 p.m. – Man came into the station to report that he hit a tree on Farm Street three years ago and then noticed other cars have hit the tree. Wednesday, March 14: 1:06 a.m. - Sherborn Police Department reported a car hit another car and a mailbox and took off down Route 27 towards Medfield. Officer reported vehicle was gone on arrival. 11:04 a.m. - Westwood Police reported they have a breaking and entering going on in the area of High Street and Pond Street in Westwood. They are looking for a heavy set black male wearing a red shirt, blue jeans with a black backpack. Black male is reportedly on foot somewhere in the wooded area. Westwood Police located the black male in the house. 12:39 p.m. - A 49-year-old Medfield man was issued a court summons on a charge of assault and battery of an elder. Thursday, March 8: 6:32 a.m. – Caller from Philip Street at Fairview Road reported a dead deer. 7:35 a.m. – 911 caller reported a person hit by a motor vehicle on Main and Spring Streets. Medfield Fire Chief William Kingsbury cancelled paramedics. Person hit by motor vehicle was transported to Natick Hospital. Medfield Chief of Police Robert E. Meaney Jr. said person was struck by a mirror "associated with a large truck" and "sustained minor injuries." Meaney added the driver did not know he hit the person when Medfield Police talked to him. 9:08 a.m. – 911 caller reported motor vehicle accident on Spring Street with personal injury by St. Edwards Church. 1:58 p.m. - Individual from Partridge Road called to report possible fraud by phone. …

Maybe chief barney fife/meaney should start working for the taxpayer and stop pretending to do his job when he has no intention of doing what he is supposed to do. and start impounding their dirtbikes or is he afraid of the backlash from their parents?   more ›

Thursday, March 1: 8:51 a.m. - Caller from West Mill Street reported an aggressive driver on Route 27 southbound. Walpole notified. 5:15 p.m. – Man called from his cell phone to report a motor vehicle crash at Brook and Green Streets. The two operators might have been having a fight as well. Officer checked the area but reported both vehicles were gone on arrival. 5:26 p.m. – EMT called the station to report he received a call from Arnold Drive about a stray dog to be picked up. Tuesday, Feb. 21: 1:06 a.m. – Roxanne J., Desper, 40, 52 Northway St., Holliston was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Route 27 near the Transfer Station on North Meadows Road. Desper, who had a warrant out for her arrest issued by Attleboro District Court, was charged with attaching plates to a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, license not in possession, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating after suspension of registration. Bail Commissioner Bob Quinn denied bail and officer Daniel Pellegrini transported Desper to Dedham District Court at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday. 12:54 p.m. - Woman from Pleasant Street called emergency 911 to request the ambulance for her husband, who had passed out twice. Medfield Man Arrested by Norwood PD for B&E, Assault

Daniel J. Haney, 37, of Medfield, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering, assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, threat to commit a crime, and armed robbery, on Feb. 20 with the help of Medfield Police.

Norwood police have charged a Medfield man with assault after he allegedly attacked a relative in their home. Daniel J. Haney, 37, of Medfield, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering in daytime, assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, threat to commit a crime, and armed robbery, on Feb. 20 with the help of Medfield Police. The incident began the morning of Feb. 20 when Haney went to a family member's house accusing him of taking his property, Norwood Police spokesman Kevin Grasso said. "It is alleged that Haney grabbed the victim by the neck. The defendant picked up a hammer that was near by, never striking the victim, and dropped it when another resident came into the room," Grasso said. The owner of the home asked…

Wednesday, Feb. 15: 9:21 a.m. – Officer was out doing radar on South Street and Wilson Street and reported no citations were issued. 9:33 a.m. – Woman called emergency 911 from Nebo Street to request the ambulance for a woman, 60, who was light headed. Ambulance transported patient to Norwood Hospital. 2:12 p.m.  – Man from North Street requested radar be done at Pine Street if possible because in the mornings, between 5:30 and 6:45, vehicles are “going very fast.” 8:12 p.m. – Millis Police called for Medfield’s ambulance for a man with cardiac arrest.
