Elizabeth Bronstein, 83, Remembered for Sense of Humor

Her kindness, warmth and sense of humor was loved and admired by everyone fortunate enough to know her.

OBITUARY Elizabeth (Connor) Bronstein, 83 of Scottsdale, Arizona and Cape Cod Massachusetts, born April 6, 1930 in Manchester, England, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2013. Elizabeth, fondly known as Bette, was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother & sister. She was a teacher, community volunteer, entrepreneur, successful business owner and avid supporter of the arts. Elizabeth is survived by her husband David of 59 years, daughters Karen (husband Bruce) of Phoenix, Arizona; Susan of Scottsdale, Arizona; Jillian (husband Skip) of Medfield, Massachusetts; and sister Tessa of Los Angeles, California. Medfield Angels Mourn Death of Neighbor Brigade Co-Founder Pam Washek

Washek lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, Dec. 2. Calling hours will be on Wednesday at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Weston, and a service will be held on Thursday at the same location.

A wife and mother and volunteering icon has died after a 10-year battle with cancer. Pam Washek, the co-founder of the Wayland Angel Food Network (now the Neighbor Brigade), passed away Dec. 2, according to an obituary published on Boston.com. Today, Wayland's chapter of Neighbor Brigade is just one of more than 30 in the state of Massachusetts. There is also a chapter operating in Nashua, N.H., as the only non-Massachusetts chapter at this time. The Medfield Neighbor Brigade chapter was founded in the fall of 2010 (the group started at the Medfield Angels earlier that year).  Medfield founders Laurie Nealon and Kathleen Cahill sent a message to the Medfield Angels on Monday to share the news. Darvina A. "Del" Carson, 98, Born in Medfield in 1913

Carson made her famous homemade spaghetti sauce until her last days. Her parents opened the first Italian restaurant in Peoria, IL. She was one month shy of her 99th birthday.

Bob Taylor, 76, Leaves Brother in Medfield

Robert Taylor died on Sept. 28 surrounded by his loving family and dog.

Taylor, 76, a resident of Blue Spruce Road, East Wilton, Maine, diedon Sept. 28 peacefully at his home as he wanted, surrounded by his loving family and with his dog.
