Monday, August 13 4:13 a.m., Penobscott Street. Resident called for an ambulance to take her nine-month-old son to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing. He was taken to Norwood Hospital. 6:30 a.m., Evergreen Way. Caller reported a dumpster in the roadway. Police did not find a dumpster in the road. 4:29 p.m., Mutual aid. Police assisted Norfolk at the scene of a motor vehicle crash at Seekonk and Cleveland Streets. Tuesday, August 14 5:33 a.m., CVS. Caller reported construction workers being very loud. Police said they had permission to be there at that early hour. 5:48 a.m., Dale Street. Resident reported a continuous problem with cars parking on the sidewalk. A citation was issued. 12:13 p.m., Indian Hill Road. Caller …

Police Logs: 11 Youths Removed from State Hospital Property and Warrant Arrest

Tuesday, May 29: 9:52 a.m. (General offenses) – Report of a transformer blown in the area of South Street and Juniper Lane. Fire Department reported dump truck took down house service wire that was still on the truck. NSTAR was notified. Wednesday, May 30: 8:59 a.m. (Ambulance run) – Woman called from Medfield High School to request the ambulance for a young girl who had passed out in the girls’ locker room. Patient was transported to Norwood Hospital at 9:19 a.m. 9:27 a.m. (Animal complaint) – Man from Preservation Way called to request the Animal Control officer. Man had a turtle in his pool and wanted it removed as soon as possible. 11:59 a.m. (Assist a citizen) – General manager of the Kingsbury Club came into the station with a copy …

Medfield Man Charged for Allegedly Removing Tree from Kingsbury Club

According to Medfield Police logs, a 42-year-old Medfield resident was issued a court summons for larceny and malicious destruction of property charges after allegedly cutting down a tree on the Kingsbury Club's property on May 27.

A 42-year-old Medfield man from Curve Street was issued a court summons on May 27 on charges of larceny over $250 and malicious destruction of property over $250 after allegedly cutting down a tree and removing other landscape from the Kingsbury Club's property on Ice House Road.  "[The incident] involved the cutting and removal of a 25-foot tree and other landscape items, which will have a value of greater than $250, which is part of the of criteria for a felony," said Medfield Chief of Police Robert E. Meaney Jr. "Taking the tree away is the other part." Medfield Police did not release the man’s name because he was issued a court summons and not arrested, according to Meaney. Monday, May 21: 8:26 a.m. (Missing property found) – Man called from his cell phone to report he and his wife were out walking on Noon Hill Road when they spotted what looked like a gun on the banks of Stop River by the bridge. Officer retrieved pellet gun from the banks of Stop River and returned it to the station for found property. 9:02 a.m. (Larceny) – Man from 91 Pleasant St. came into the station and requested to speak with an officer about his pickup truck being vandalized and some things stolen from inside of it overnight. Man’s pickup truck was parked in the back lot of the Pleasant Street Garden Apartments. The man reported the following items were stolen from his vehicle: TomTom GPS (valued at $100), Vizio 32-inch flat screen TV…

Millis Woman Arrested for B&E in Medfield

Linda J. Pernice, 48, of 251 Village St., Millis, was arrested on a felony charge for allegedly breaking into a vehicle on Tubwreck Drive in Medfield on Saturday, May 26.

A Millis woman is facing a felony charge for nighttime breaking and entering of a vehicle after allegedly breaking into a Medfield resident’s Subaru on Tubwreck Drive on Saturday, May 26. Linda J. Pernice, 48, of 251 Village St., Millis was arrested on May 26 after allegedly breaking into a Subaru on Tubwreck Drive and taking a small amount of cash before leaving the scene in her Toyota Sienna van, according to Medfield police logs. A man on Tubwreck Drive called the Medfield Police Department at 1:18 a.m. on Saturday, May 26 to report “someone was in his vehicle in his driveway” before taking off in “a dark colored van,” according to police logs. Sunday, May 13: 1:11 a.m. (Vandalism) – Man from Stuart Street called to report his mailbox was smashed. He reported about four youths in an SUV but there were three to four vehicles speeding up and down the street. Officer notified and searched the area with no luck. 2:42 p.m. (Noise complaint) – Resident from Sanders Way came into the station and requested to speak with an officer about some very loud gunshots or fireworks that have been going off the last two weeks. There was one in the morning around 2:40 a.m. 7:10 p.m. (Animal complaint) – Woman from Curve Street called to request animal control for a squirrel that was stuck in a net in her backyard. Tuesday, May 8: 7:33 a.m. (Fire alarm) – Fire alarm for Tilden Village came into the station. Medfield Fire Chief William Kingsbury reported it was caused by burnt food. 8:35 a.m. (Animal complaint) – Caller from Medfield High School reported a fox walking around the outside of the building. 10:45 a.m. (Ambulance run) – Caller from High Street reported his wife had fallen and injured her hip – possibly broke it. Monday, April 30: 9:54 a.m. (Fire alarm) – EMT reported he received a call from alarm company for a fire on Minuteman Road. At 10:01 a.m. it was reported the alarm was accidental by individual cooking. 5:45 p.m. (Ambulance run) – Woman from Wilkens Glen Road was reported unresponsive but breathing and transported to Norwood Hospital. Tuesday, May 1: 5:39 a.m. (Working fire) – Medfield Fire Department reported they had a call from the Medfield Post Office about a burning smell coming from the lady’s room. Tuesday, April 24: 8:07 a.m. (Suspicious vehicle) – Woman from Bridlefield Lane called to request an officer to check on a suspicious vehicle with a man sitting in it. Officer spoke with operator, who said he was delivering newspapers in the area and ran out of gas. He reportedly had someone on the way to bring him some gasoline. Officer reported the man was on his way. 3 p.m. (Departmental action) – Ken Feeney, DPW Superintendent, called from town hall to report the Medfield Water Department had to turn off the water at the street going to the house at 55 Bridge St because there was a water break there and it was inside the house.
