Medfield Food Cupboard Provides Thanksgiving Dinner for 36 Families
The Medfield Food Cupboard held its annual Thanksgiving distribution this past week.
With the help of the Medfield Food Cupboard, 36 families will have a full table this Thanksgiving. The food cupboard depends on the generosity of individuals and groups in Medfield and neighboring communities in order to feed the families that depend on its service. Local families were able to fill their bags with those items as well as donations of fresh potatoes, onions, carrots and garlic donated by the Wheelock School Victory Garden; homemade breads donated by the Medfield Neighborhood Brigade; five cases of water donated by the First Baptist Church; sugar pumpkins donated by Lovells Flowers and Nursery; and turkey donated by Armand P.
