Ann Thompson to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award

Thompson will be recognized by The Medfield Foundation as an "active citizen" and a woman who "can do it all."

The following press release was submitted by The Medfield Foundation. The Medfield Foundation proudly recognizes Ann Thompson with one of its two 2013 Lifetime Achievement Awards for her five decades of work to benefit Medfield, including almost forty years service in town government. Ann has been “everywhere” and involved in “everything” in town. Outstanding Volunteers to be Recognized by Medfield Foundation

The Medfield Foundation will recognize all residents nominated as Outstanding Volunteers at a reception to be held on March 10.

  The following individuals were nominated as Outstanding Volunteers for the Medfield Foundation's 2013 Volunteer Recognition award.  A reception will be held in their honor on Sunday, March 10 at 4 p.m. at The Center at Medfield. Those nominated include: Youth Volunteer of the Year Katrina Simon for work with the Mass. Alzheimer’s Assoc., Medfield Youth Action Committee, China student exchanges, MHS Chinese Club, Downtown Study Committee, political campaigns, and The Zullo Gallery Greg Lyons for tutoring work at the Medfield High School math lab, MHS Community Teens, P&C Sports Emily Monac for therapeutic horseback riding work at BiNA Farm, MHS Community Teens, and HOBY Youth Leadership Volunteer of the Year Beth Eby for her work with the…

Manganello Receives 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award

Albert Manganello has been recognized by The Medfield Foundation for 40 years of work with Medfield's military veterans.

The following press release was submitted by The Medfield Foundation.  The Medfield Foundation proudly recognizes Albert Manganello, Jr. with its 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award for his four-decade long life work to benefit all things for all Medfield veterans. Medfield Veteran Service Officer Ron Griffin put it perfectly when he said, “From breaking ground at Baxter Park to coordinating the Senior Christmas party, Al's fingerprints are on every veteran related town project. Know An Outstanding Volunteer? Medfield Foundation Wants to Hear About Them

MFi seeks nominations for outstanding volunteers. Applications can be found at www.medfieldfoundation.org and are due in January.

Do you know someone in Medfield who dedicates countless time and energy to a worthy community cause or initiative?  If so, now is your chance to nominate him or her for a Medfield Foundation, Inc. (MFi) volunteer award. This year's nomination form, due January 25, 2013, seeks to capture information about the volunteer's work in specific areas, including: Anyone interested in submitting a nomination for one of the 2013 Medfield Foundation volunteer awards can download the official form at www.medfieldfoundation.org.
