Veterans Day: Luminary Ceremony [PHOTOS]
Here's a look at the 6th annual "Light Up Baxter Park for Veterans Day."
On Sunday, Medfield residents gathered at Baxter Park for the 6th annual "Light Up Baxter Park for Veterans Day." After a short program at 5 p.m., members of the Ladies Auxiliary lit hundreds of luminary bags purchased in memory of area veterans. The program started with a moment of silence led by American Legion Post 110 Commander Robert Tannler, followed by member Al Manganello reading a list of Medfield veterans who have died in the last year. The list included: American Legion Members: Other area Veterans: "May you rest in peace; the Legion and the town of Medfield will miss you," Manganello said. "Because of them, our lives are free.
