The popular program attracted 54 Kindergarten children last Saturday.

The popular Kinder Basketball League through the Medfield Parks & Recreation Department got off to a fast start Saturday morning, with 54 Kindergarteners on six teams participating in practices and games at the Memorial School gymnasium. Splashed in their team colors – red, orange, Kelly green, charcoal, royal blue and gold – the players were put through drills by the volunteer parent coaches, including passing, dribbling, defense and shooting. Once practice was over, each team participated in a game, where fun and learning the basic rules were emphasized. The league will run throughout the winter and into early April on Saturday mornings from 9am to noon…
Registration is now open for the 2013-2014 school year. All forms are available on-line. A parent information night will be held on Jan. 24.
Kindergarten registration for the 2013-2014 school year at the Memorial School is going on now. All eligible students must be five years old on or by August 31, 2013. Please visit www.medfield.net and click on the link to bring you to the Kindergarten Registration Page. All necessary documents for registration are available on-line. If you have difficulty obtaining any of these forms, please contact the Memorial School Office at 508-359-5135. Kindergarten Parent Information Night, a parent-only event, will be held on Jan. 24 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Memorial School Cafeteria.
