Kevin Connolly to Play at Zullo Gallery on Saturday

Kevin Connolly and Michael Dinallo will play at the Zullo Gallery on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

  When Medfield resident Jerry Potts founded Eastern Front Records in the early 1990s, the defining moment was landing a record publishing deal with Rounder Records.    Years later, Potts met another Medfield resident, Porter Terry, who once worked at Rounder Records. Not only did the two have the Rounder connection, but they both had a deep appreciation for the rich and lyrically engaging music of singer/songwriter Kevin Connolly, who put out three albums on Eastern Front.    Now the Potts/Terry duo is teaming up to bring Kevin Connolly to Medfield on Saturday, March 2, as a benefit for the Zullo Gallery. Joining Connolly will also be Michael Dinallo on electric guitar. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and a suggested donation of $8 is requested …

VIDEO: Medfield's 12A Williamsport Champions Honored at Opening Day Ceremonies

Medfield's 2011 12A Williamsport District 3 champions were honored at Sunday's Little League Parade and Opening Ceremonies.

On July 16, 2011 the Medfield 12A Williamsport team made history when it captured the District 3 championship in a dramatic, 8-7 walk-off victory over Norfolk in Norwood. On Sunday, April 29, those 11 players were honored during Medfield's annual Little League parade and youth baseball and softball opening ceremonies commemorating 60 years of youth baseball and softball in town. Players of the Williamsport team received a hero's reception through the town's streets and around Metacomet Field as they proudly held their championship banner for all to see.  Medfield Youth Baseball and Softball president Jerry Potts presented each player with a plaque immortalizing their historic achievement (see video above) and the players presented signed …
