Wednesday, Nov. 21 8:49 a.m., Main Street. Caller reported a smell of gas by the Mobil station and library. Fire Chief Kingsbury said the smell is from workers taking gasoline tanks out of service at Mobil station. 11:43 a.m., station. Police assisted a resident with fingerprints. 12:55 p.m., Main Street. State police dispatch reported they a call about a motor vehicle accident with no personal injury. A wrecker was needed for one vehicle. 3:14 p.m., Farm Street. Caller reported a disabled motor vehicle at the Farm Street railroad tracks. The man lost his oil pan when going over the tracks and was waiting for a tow truck. Westwood police have charged two people with breaking into a Dover Road home on Oct. 9. Those people may have broken into a Medfield home on the same day.
Westwood Police have charged two people with breaking into a Dover Road home on Oct. 9. The man and woman may also be connected with a house break in Medfield on the same day. A press release issued on Tuesday by the Westwood Police Department said that one individual, a 34 year-old Weymouth man, entered the unlocked Dover Road home while his 27 year-old female accomplice remained close by in a vehicle, awaiting the exit of the male from the home with stolen items. "There is a possibility that these individuals were involved in a housebreak in Medfield," said Medfield Police Chief Robert Meaney Jr. "We have still not conclusively associated these individuals with breaks in Medfield, although that may occur as the investigation continues…

Tuesday, Oct. 9 9:16 a.m., Main Street. Caller reported a trash bag in front of the Peak House that looked suspicious. Police reported the bag was full of trash, and notified the Highway Department. 10:37 a.m., Pederzini Drive. Caller reported that a white female with curley long hair, age approximately 25 to 35 years old, knocked on her back door and asked for directions to Dedham. She was driving a bright blue smaller Toyota. Gone on arrival. 4:32 p.m., Wood End Lane. A 911 caller reported that her house was broken into. 5:13 p.m., Main Street.
