1.  Weather Advisory in Effect for Saturday. Forecast for Saturday: The National Weather Service based in Taunton calls for mostly cloudy, scattered thunderstorms after 4 p.m.  High of 92. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Saturday night: Scattered thunderstorms.  Low around 62.  North wind around 5 mph.  Sunday: Mostly sunny.  High near 86. Light north wind becoming northwest 8 to 13 mph.  Sunday night:  Mostly clear. Low around 55.  North wind around 6 mph. 2. Mud Race Training: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Fitness Advantage, 99 West Street. Train for Spartan Race, Warrior Dash, Ruckus Race. 3. 5 Things: Another Heat Advisory, Farmers' Market, Concert at the Gazebo, and State Hospital Redevelopment Study Committee to meet.

Montrose aluma Ana Buckley will perform at MEMO's Summer Concert Series tonight with the Armstrong Brothers who play country, classic, acoustic, and children’s favorites.

Today's Forecast: Meetings at Town Hall: Library Events:  Community Events:  Farmers’ Market from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the First Parish UU Church, 26 North Street.   MEMO’s Summer Concert Series, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Town Gazebo, 460 Main Street, featuring Ana Buckley (lead vocals and guitar, also a Montrose alumna) and the Armstrong Brothers who play country, classic acoustic and children’s favorites.   ‘Thoughts Are Free’ Sculpture Path, 24/7 through October, along Route 109 between the Peak House (347 Main Street) and the old section of Vine Lake Cemetery (625 Main Street) by sculptor Hannah Verlin.

5 Things: Heat Advisory from National Weather Service, Park & Recreation Meeting, and Wii Wednesday

ALERT: The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory warning for today between noon and 7 p.m. when “heat indices up to 103 degrees will result in dangerous conditions for those spending prolonged periods of time outside.”

Today's Forecast: Meetings at Town Hall: Library Events:  Community Events:  The Medfield Food Cupboard: The First Baptist Church of Medfield, First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Medfield, St. Edward's Parish Church, Church of the Advent and the United Church of Christ are taking collections to help the Medfield Food Cupboard. The Medfield Food Cupboard needs the following items for June: Jelly (no grape please), juice (bottles and boxes), cereal, pasta sauce, canned pears, and snacks, but will gladly accept other non-perishable items. Please drop off these items at your local church any Sunday.
