The MHS Jazz Band will perform at Lord's on Jan. 12 from noon to 1 p.m. in recognition for all the support the store, and the Kelly family, has shown community groups over its 73 year history. The public is encouraged to attend.
On Saturday, Jan. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. the Medfield High School Jazz Band will be performing at Lord's Department Store as a way to thank the Kelly family for many years of selling tickets to high school music performances, plays, Trolley Tours and other community events. Organizers call this "musical therapy" to help the community deal with last week's news that the iconic store will be closing next month after 73 years in business. The public is encouraged to stop into Lord’s during the event to express their own appreciation for the support the Kelly family and Lord's staff have provided to Medfield community groups over the years.
