The Friends of the Dwight-Derby House celebrated their 15th anniversary of saving the historic landmark with a Black and White Gala.
The Friends of the Dwight-Derby House celebrated their 15th anniversary of the town’s purchase of the historic landmark on Frairy Street – effectively saving the home from demolition – with a Black and White Gala this past Saturday night. Close to 100 guests visited the 17th-century home and were encouraged to take a tour of the house and see the restoration progress that has been done over the past 15 years. Everyone gathered under a large white tent in the back yard of the house for an evening of dinner and dancing and even the house got dressed up.
