"Who's ready for dessert?"  That has to be one of the best questions asked around the house during the holidays. There's no question there is always a lot to be thankful for and look forward to during this time of year, but near the top of everyone's list has to be the variety of delicious foods we gorge ourselves on. Some Smith family favorites this holiday – and every holiday – include pumpkin and apple pies, sugar cookies and a variety of homemade breads. While these desserts are on the table year after year, they're not the dishes we can't live without when the season changes to winter and the holiday season is ever so present.
