Medfield Resident's Adult Foster Care Business Issues Statement Following Indictment

Gabriel Care, LLC – the adult foster care business owned by Medfield resident Dennis Etzkorn – issued the following statement after he and his company were charged with Medicaid kickbacks allegedly exceeding $1.2 million.

Medfield resident Dennis Etzkorn's company, Gabriel Care LLC, issued the following statement in response to indictments returned by a Bristol County Grand Jury on March 29 on charges of alleged Medicaid kickbacks exceeding $1.2 million. "Gabriel Care LLC is proud of its history of providing quality Adult Foster Care in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2001," Gabriel Care’s statement read. "We have cooperated with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in its investigation and are reviewing the charges returned by the grand jury. I have been a client of gabriel care for quite a while now.I don't know about the problems but the program itself is a wounderful thing. It keeps many of us out of nursing homes and saves huge amounts of money.Money is now being withheld and we are suffering because of it.This situation IS NOT being handled correctly.thank you   more ›

Medfield Resident, Adult Foster Care Program Indicted For Alleged Kickbacks

A press release from Attorney General Martha Coakley's office reports Dennis Etzkorn, a Medfield resident and his adult foster care business, Gabriel Care, LLC recently had services rendered because of alleged kickbacks exceeding $1.2 million.

A Medfield resident and his adult foster care business were indicted on Friday, March 30 for alleged kickbacks totaling more than $1.2 million, according to Attorney General Martha Coakley's office. Dennis Etzkorn, 52, of 10 Trailside Rd., his Fall River based adult foster care business, Gabriel Care, LLC and the company's program director, Jennifer Nunes-Reid, 34, were indicted for allegedly paying, and offering to pay, illegal kickbacks in exchange for the referral of new clients enrolled in the Medicaid-funded program, Coakley announced in an April 3 press release.
