Medfield Public Schools will have a two-hour delayed start on Monday, Feb. 11, according to the district website. There will be no morning Kindergarten or preschool classes.

Medfield Chief of Police Robert E. Meaney Jr. said water appears to be affecting the wire that reads the demand of traffic. "The traffic lights at that intersection function on demand based on cars tripping a wire that is buried in the pavement," Meaney said. "As a result of the ice, snow and cracks, water appears to be affecting the wire."
