Daisies Spread Holiday Cheer at Upham House

Daisy Troop #78192 visited the Thomas Upham House, a nursing home in Medfield, on Friday.

On Friday, Daisy Girl Scout Troop 78192 sang Christmas carols to the residents of the Thomas Upham nursing home. Fourteen Kindergarteners dressed as Candy Cane fairies entertained the residents and also presented them with handmade ornaments.  "During a meeting, the girls practiced their Christmas carols and also made ornaments to decorate a Christmas tree which we also brought to the Upham House and left there for them to enjoy," explained leader Jennifer Menard.  This is the girls' first year in Girl Scouts and they learned that a big piece of being a Daisy is being considerate and caring and making the world a better place, explained Menard.
