Police Association Donates $1,000 for Music Trip to China
The Medfield Jazz Band will travel to China in April. Fundraising efforts are underway to help offset costs.
The Medfield High School Jazz Band has received another sizeable donation toward funding its trip to China in April. Last week, Medfield Police Officer Chelle Manganello stopped in to see Medfield Music Director Doug Olsen and delivered a $1,000 check from the Medfield Police Association for the Jazz Band’s music trip to China in April. (Manganello serves as the association’s treasurer.) On Saturday, Feb. 2, the Jazz Band will hold a concert -- Jazzin' for China -- at 7 p.m. at The Center at Medfield to cap off the China fundraising campaign.
