Medfield Determined to Play Four Quarters of Football Tonight in Millis

The Warriors travel to Millis to face the Mohawks Friday at 7 p.m. Medfield Patch will provide real time coverage with its Friday Night LIVE blog.

With two games remaining in the 2011 season, head coach Erik Ormberg expects his Medfield High School football team to compete and execute its game plan for four quarters, starting Friday night in Millis. “We have to play four quarters of football, limit mistakes and penalties and convert big plays on special teams,” Ormberg said. Last week, Medfield went toe-to-toe with Hopkinton for the first quarter-and-a-half, but in the span of 23 seconds, the Hillers pulled ahead for good. “The game changed in 23 seconds going from 0-0 to 13-0,” Ormberg said. “We hung in there until the fourth quarter, our players refuse to quit. Medfield Football Looks to Carry Momentum into Medway Friday

Fresh off a 32-16 victory over Norton, Medfield travels to Medway in search of its first league victory of the season.

Last week, the Medfield High School football team moved away from its clock control running style on offense and used an impressive passing attack to defeat Norton, 32-16 to end a three-game losing streak.
