Medfield's Cumberland Farms Goes Under Construction

The Medfield Cumberland Farms at the corner of Routes 109 and 27 on Main Street is having its building's interior remodeled.

The Cumberland Farms on Main Street at the corner of Routes 109 and 27 is under construction while the building undergoes interior remodeling, according to Medfield Town Administrator Michael Sullivan. "[Medfield Fire Chief William] Kingsbury told me Cumberland Farms is remodeling the interior of the store and putting up new signage, reflecting their new logo," Sullivan said. "During the remodeling, they plan to shut down one of the gas islands and keep the other three open." All gas pumps are currently closed but three are expected to reopen by the end of the week. Italian Groceria Closed for Construction

Medfield's popular Italian Deli shop closed until July 11th as it undergoes "construction."

The Italian Groceria Deli and Pizzeria, formerly known as Isabella's, on 258 Main St. will be closed for construction until July 11.  A sign posted in the popular deli shop's window says the eatery will be closed from July 5-10 due to construction and will reopen on July 11.  The restaurant offers a variety of homemade brick-oven pizzas and calzones, as well as sandwiches made with Boars Head meats. Italian Groceria has also been very active in the Medfield school community, often helping athletic teams and the Medfield Booster Club raise funds through a percentage of store sales on selected days.
