Medfield Youth Hockey wins Squirt A League Championship

  On Monday, the Medfield Youth Hockey Squirt A team upset previously undefeated Assabet Valley 5-2 in the league championship game in Westboro, reports the team's website. Medfield Girls' Basketball Over Oliver Ames in Walpole Tourney

The following ran in the Easton Patch on Feb. 21, 2013. The Oliver Ames girls' basketball team went into Wednesday night's Walpole Tournament championship game facing one final test before the Massachusetts State Tournament. They were certainly tested in more ways than one. A scrappy and relentless Medfield squad stood in the way of Oliver Ames heading into the state tournament unbeaten. The Warriors won the back-and-forth game, 61-55. The Tigers dropped to 18-1 overall. "It’s really too bad that somebody had to lose this game," Oliver Ames coach Elaine Clement-Holbrook said. "That’s just the way it goes. It’s not one of those things where everyone gets a trophy and everyone is smiling." The game was a rematch of last year's Walpole …

MHS Boys Hockey Clinches TVL Championship [PHOTOS]

Medfield won over Dover-Sherborn 5-0

  The Medfield High School Boys Varsity Hockey Team has clinched the Tri-Valley League Championship title. The final score of Wednesday's game against Dover-Sherborn was 5-0, according to MassHSHockey.com.   Tyler Etzkorn (#22-captain) scored two of the goals to clinch the TVL championship, according to one spectator.  Were you at the game? Medfield Swim & Dive Team Takes Second in TVL Championship Meet

On Sunday, the Medfield High School Swimming and Diving team finished in second place at the TVL Championship meet! The team scores were Hopkinton 1091.5, Medfield 910, Dover-Sherborn 828.5, Ashland 585, Norton 511, and Holliston 351.

The team of Freshman Olivia Tom, Sophomore Haley Dolan, Senior Jenn Alban, and Senior Katie Nickerson started off the meet with a second place finish in the 200 Medley relay.  The team had a season best time of 2:02.93! Medfield Youth Baseball Fall Champions Crowned

Medfield Blue Team of fourth and fifth graders defeated the Medfield Green Team, 7-0 on Oct. 2 for the Medfield Youth Baseball Fall Championship.

The Medfield Blue Team captured the Youth Baseball Fall Championship on Oct. 2, after a 7-0 victory over the Medfield Green Team. Bob Mills of Medfield Youth Baseball said the game was much closer than the final score indicated as Jack Mills of the Blue Team and the Green Team's Ryan Dooley both pitched outstanding games.
