Medfield Fire Department Announces New Brush Burning Requirements
Residents will need written permission for open brush burning.
Medfield residents planning to conduct open brush burning will be required to obtain written permits starting Jan. 1, 2011, according to a statement released on the Medfield Fire Department's website. Burning permits will be available at the Fire Station beginning Jan. 2, 2011 the upcoming burning season. "Once issued, the permit will be good for the entire burning season. Residents will still be required to call the day they wish to burn to see if conditions are favorable for burning, if so, they will be asked to give their permit number and address," the statement said.
