Snow Likely To Fall On Medfield Friday

National Weather Service calls for 1 to 3 inches of snow Friday night.

A light snowfall is expected to leave Medfield with 1 to 3 inches of snow Friday, according to the National Weather Service. The forecast calls for a slight chance of snow Friday morning after 2 a.m. with snow most likely to fall after 1 p.m. Friday afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent throughout the day and 90 percent by Friday night, when the storm is expected to leave the majority of its accumulation.  Chance of snow showers continue throughout Saturday – 60 percent chance of precipitation before 7 a.m. and 40 percent chance of precipitation before 5 a.m. Sunday.  The storm comes nearly two weeks after the blizzard that dropped 13.5 inches of snow on Medfield and cost the town $62,000 in cleanup from Sunday, Dec. 26 to …

Blizzard 2010 brought Medfield 13.5 inches of snow and put Massachusetts in a state of emergency. The storm closed town hall and the library Monday as well as cancelled several athletic events.
