Author on Parenting to Speak Wednesday at Blake Middle School

Parenting expert and author, Sue Blaney, will speak at Blake Middle School at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Parents are invited to attend.

The Blake Middle School CSA will present a special speaker for Medfield parents Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the middle school: Sue Blaney. Blaney, a parenting expert and author of “How to Parent Teens,” will offer parents advice on parenting through their child’s teenage years. “She is an expert worth hearing,” said Chris Kaldy, last year’s Blake CSA co-secretary. “The BMS CSA is more than pleased to be able to bring her to town.” Kaldy said while the presentation is presented by the Blake CSA, parents from both the middle school and high school are welcome to attend as Blaney’s talk covers teens in middle school and high school. Blake Middle School Courtyard 9/11 Memorial was Revitalized by Medfield Boy Scouts

Members of Medfield Boy Scout Troops 10 and 89, along with the Medfield DPW, the Blake School custodians, and the Blake CSA are being thanked for their work on the 9/11 Memorial Courtyard revitalization project.

Medfield Boy Scout Troops 10 and 89 were thanked for their efforts to beautify the Blake Middle School Courtyard Memorial for the 10-year anniversary of Sept. 11. “In the spring of this year, Troop 10 volunteered to help revitalize the Courtyard for the 10th year anniversary of 9/11,” said Jenni Brady, CSA member and BMS Courtyard Chairperson. “Scouts and parents of both Troop 10 and Troop 89, along with Bobby Kennedy and the Medfield Department of Public Works, the Blake School custodians, and the BMS CSA (Community School Association) worked on the revitalization, completing the project on Sept. 7.
