Feb. 1 is the last day to order a t-shirt commemorating Lord's Department Store and its place in Medfield history.
Friday, Feb. 1, is the last day to order a Lord's commemorative t-shirt to commemorate the store's place in Medfield history (1940-2013). So far, more than 1,000 t-shirts have been ordered. To order, fill out a form near the front counter at Lord's Department Store (which will be closing on Feb. 28 after 73 years in business) by 8 p.m. on Feb. 1. Proceeds will go toward a scholarship fund in the name of Lord's former owner, Bill Kelly, who died in May. The store is currently run by Kelly's children, Nancy Kelly-Lavin and Tom Kelly. Direct donations can also be made to the Bill Kelly Scholarship Fund at the front counter of the store. About the Shirts
