Blake Middle School student Lily Doctoroff was honored earlier this month for her volunteer work.
Earlier this month, Lily Doctoroff, an eighth grade student at Blake Middle School, was honored with a John F. Kennedy Make a Difference Award for her volunteer work with the Medway Family Shelter as well as her anti-bullying efforts. Lily was one of nearly 100 middle school students to be honored at a reception at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum on April 9. About the Award The John F. Kennedy Make a Difference Award is given to students who are nominated by a teacher or principal for an outstanding contribution they have made to their school, neighborhood, town or the global community. Albert Manganello has been recognized by The Medfield Foundation for 40 years of work with Medfield's military veterans.
