Thursday, Jan. 10 2:16 a.m., Causeway Street. Alarm company reported an alarm coming from the garage. Police found the house was secure. 7:48 a.m., Bridge Street. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle (new Toyota sedan) driving up and down the street. Gone on arrival. 9:47 a.m., Planting Field Road. Caller said she has no water. Police also received a call from Forest Street. Police called the Water Department who said they have a water break on High Street near Garry Drive. At 9:51 a.m., detail officer helping with traffic at High and Garry. At 10:38 a.m., police report water is turned off and they are repairing the water pipe. 11:08 a.m., Frairy Street. Sunday, January 6 6:13 a.m., Main Street. Walk-in report of a man who was inside the convenience store and is now outside standing near the trash can. He was making employees nervous. Police said the man lives at Tilden Village and will give him a ride home. 8:01 a.m., 10:23 a.m., 12:12 p.m., 6:51 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control for St. Edward's Church. 9:08 a.m., 10:42 a.m., Main Street. Traffic control for the United Church of Christ. 9:47 a.m., Dover mutual aid. Dover Police asked for our ambulance to Main Street, Dover, for a man who fell and hit his head. Medfield Fire took him to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. 10:04 a.m., Green Street. Animal Control is looking for a "gray dog with black spots" that was in the Winter Street area in Medfield as a young boy got off the school bus on Dec. 19.
On the afternoon of Dec. 19, a young was bitten by a dog as he got off the school bus on Winter Street in Medfield. The town's Animal Control Officer continues to look for the dog to check it for rabies. The boy described the animal as "a gray dog with black spots."
