FRANKLIN – The Medfield High School boys' hockey team knocked off Tri-Valley League rival Westwood Wednesday, 3-1, to sweep the season series with the Wolverines. Wednesday's win against the defending TVL champs keeps the Warriors atop the league standings with a 7-0-1 record. Medfield defeated Westwood, 3-1 in Canton on Dec. 17. Medfield got on the board 28 seconds into the game Wednesday after Tyler Etzkorn followed his shot on Westwood goaltender William Kenney and tipped in the rebound for the 1-0 advantage. That lead held up through a scoreless second period that saw Westwood gain momentum from a strong penalty kill and a lackluster Medfield power play.
