One year ago today, Medfield was buried in snow.
It’s been a winter season that has felt like fall and for the second straight year, Medfield celebrated Christmas without any snow on the ground. But do you remember the post-Christmas storm that hit town a year ago? We do and we’re sharing the snowy scenes in the photo gallery above. On Dec. 26, 2010, Medfield, along with much of the rest of the state, was buried by a storm that dumped several inches of snow on the area. The blizzard prompted a number of closings and cancellations in Medfield, but despite the disruption, things went relatively smoothly for the Medfield’s Department of Public Works, which stayed busy with all of the snow that fell on the town last year.
