God gave him that gift and it would be a sin to hide it. Amazing performance and a great tribute toRead More the bride and groom. To those who think it unbefitting, get over yourselves. Singing is the greatest praise for God's gifts!
MJ April 19, 2014 at 12:27 pm
Oh my Gosh, that is the most beautiful performance that I've ever heard at any mass. The videoRead More showed that the bride, groom & all those attending truly enjoyed the song. This is one of the most wonderful songs ever & to hear the priest adding his owns words pertaining to the people in attendance was great. It was such an uplifting feeling.

Perhaps this was all meant as a horribly misguided homage to Vincent van Gogh. In the days to come,Read More we may read of a lucky lady—or gent—receiving a parcel containing the rapper’s severed appendage and a note inscribed with the words: “Take it, it will be useful.”

Aren't they required by law to send letters to those affected? Otherwise they will be liable toRead More cover any losses incurred by customers due to identity theft. Disclosing it in Patch does not relieve them of compliance with this law. At least that is my understanding.

I fail to see what this guy's race or politicial affiliation has to do with what he did. He looksRead More white to me (so the "third-world" comment doesn't make sense), and the "Obozocare" comment is absolutely ridiculous. You can blame the video games, but this guy had an underlying reason for what he did. You have to have a lot of patience to deal with a baby. They cry. They screw up your life if you really haven't grown up. I was appalled that he is being charged with third-degree murder, but I don't think he meant to kill his son. He just wasn't mature enough to be a father.
tamarya April 19, 2014 at 12:33 pm
Well pam that is where i was getting with my comment. Time people grow the hell up! There is noRead More reason a 24 yr old MAN should be too immature to raise a baby. Start teaching these young adults to be young adults, not 2 yr old babies. In high school is where it can start.

Hi Folks, Did we forget about the huge gasoline tax passed over a year ago?? It's about time weRead More start to repair the Commonwealths failing decaying infrastructure with such funds, rather than continue to balance the state annual budget deficit. Carry on, Paul Maisano

Yep, It's not bad enough that MA was already #1 in the country for debt per capita, let's make itRead More worse ! What a pork barrel waste of money. The best one is $325 million to expand South Station (why ?) and rename it the Dukakis Transportation Center. How appropriate, a boondoggle named after another inept demo governor !

I asked Prof. Cimino whether it would be possible to bring the displays to Medfield, so moreRead More residents could see them, and he thought that it could be done this summer. He just warned that they are all about 16' long, and it looked to me like there were about a dozen of them. So stay tuned. I especially liked the glass walkways that were envisioned as connectors between buildings, some of which were elevated as well.
Colleen M. Sullivan April 19, 2014 at 08:40 am
That would be wonderful, Pete, as this exhibit was so well done, and so much detail was shown as toRead More how these students transformed the Chapel and other bldgs. into very viable, usable spaces....the residents of Medfield would greatly enjoy seeing this, just to know that it is quite possible to restore/re-use/repurpose some of these buildings at the Medfield State Hospital site.

People, remember -- There are FOUR subway lines that go into the Downtown Crossing / Back Bay area.Read More You don't HAVE to take the Green Line. The ORANGE line goes to Back Bay Station, and it's pretty centrally located. Also, consider watching the Marathon from a less-populated area, such as Framingham / Newton / Needham. The runner will appreciate it, and so will the security folks.

The death penalty certainly cuts down on the record number of incarcerations in America. Enough ofRead More this liberal crap on humane punishment. The word "humane' never enters the minds of these cold blooded killers. What is going to happen if another bombing takes place outside of Texas? What is going to happen with the next airplane hijacking, or Boston?

And folks, please, do support Comm2A and GOAL. At least, go to their websites to educate yourself if you are unsure about the 2nd Amendment and what it really means. One more thing : despite what we see on tv shows(sometimes I think that's where a lot of ourRead More politicians get there info), biometrics is not a foolproof technology. I've been privileged to know some of the tech leaders in the field and, although"pretty reliable", its not a panacea for gun violence. If instituted there is no doubt it would create an underground industry that would find ways to defeat any "safeguards" based on biometrics. The "biometrics " approach is a,distraction invented by pols
