Twelfth Annual Gingerbread House Class Series at Zebra’s Bistro and Wine Bar

Zebra's Bistro and Wine Bar Executive Chef Brendan Pelley and his skilled team of pastry chefs invite local families to get in the holiday spirit with a crash course in gingerbread house construction. 

This holiday season, Zebra’s Bistro will offer its wildly popular series of Gingerbread House Making Classes for the twelfth year in a row. On Saturdays and Sundays from November 30th to December 22nd, parents and kids are invited to come out and get in the spirit as they construct the gingerbread house of their dreams with help from pros.

During this sell-out event, an annual tradition for many families, parent and child work as a team to craft a spectacular gingerbread house, first “building” the house with handmade gingerbread pieces and icing and then decorating with an edible array of colorful candies and treats. With the guidance of Zebra’s pastry chef and staff, families will have fun and make memories as they work together to create a personalized, picture-perfect centerpiece for holiday celebrations at home.

Classes will be held at 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday from Saturday, November 30th through Sunday, December 22nd.

The class is recommended for children ages six and up. The $60 cost of the class is for one parent and one child and includes all supplies. Optional upgrades include:

·         For an additional fee, the Zebra’s team can pre-build a gingerbread house so families can focus on the fun of decorating. This is a great option for families with kids under the age of six who would like to participate.

·         A limited number of spaces for additional children can be added to the general admission rate for $20.
