Woodland Theatre's "Spelling Bee" Today at 2 p.m.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is coming to Medfield High School.

The last day to see this Woodland Theatre Company production is today, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. 

The show, which might not be appropriate for children under 14, is described as: 

Get out your dictionaries! One of Broadway’s most buzzed about Tony Award winning hits is coming to Woodland Theatre. THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE takes a hilarious and heartwarming look at the pressures of growing up through the eyes of six quirky, yet lovable adolescent outsiders who are vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Along the way, they learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser. If you are craving a fun, musical comedy to sweep you up in the action and keep you laughing all the way home, then this witty and hip musical comedy is the show for you! Mature language and subject matter. Might not be appropriate for children under the age of 14.

Actors include Ben Gold, David Lucey, Molly Gervis, Elaine Hom Eastwood, Allison Russell, Joshua Wright, Nate Haywood, Brian Higgins, and Kate McTyre.

Medfield's own Mark Fisher, Brandie Erb, and Russ Hallisey will also appear in the production as well.
