Spotlight Event: Lowell Mason House Needs You Next Saturday
The Lowell Mason Foundation needs volunteers on Oct. 19 and Oct. 26.
The Lowell Mason Foundation seeks volunteers to help work on the Lowell Mason House (near Hinkley Pond) on Saturdays, Oct. 19 and Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Projects available include:
- Weed whacking and picking up debris around the outside of the house
- Painting parts of the exterior of the house
- Installing vinyl siding
- Repairing the Tyvek on the back of the house
- Weatherproofing and cleaning the interior of the house
Volunteers are asked to bring basic tools, such as hammers and paint scrapers, ladders and weed whackers (gas powered).
Coffee, paint and brushes, and pizza will be provided.
