Five Things to do in Medfield This Weekend

An art festival featuring beer and wine, a BBQ chicken bake and a trolley tour are all planned this Saturday.

Trolley Tour: Art, Culture and Mystery -- The Lifestyle of Medfield's Rich and Famous

Saturday, June 14
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Organized as part of Medfield's Annual Discover Medfield History Day, this event is sponsored by MEMO and will include six one-hour tours on the Boston Old Town Trolley. Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for children and seniors. Departure point will be at the Lowell Mason House on Green Street, with parking available at Hinckley Pond.

Dwight-Derby House "Dads & Grads" Sale

Saturday, June 14
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This event will offer homemade items created by local artisans, as well as historic Medfield coasters and note cards. All proceeds benefit the restoration of the house on the National Register of Historic Places.

Annual Firefighters Chicken BBQ

Saturday, June 14
4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Hosted by the Medfield Fire Department, this annual event costs $5-7 and includes a feast of barbecue chicken. Proceeds support Medfield firefighters.

Fifth Annual Zullo Art Festival and Party

Saturday, June 14
7-11 p.m.

To be held under a tent behind the Medfield gazebo, this event costs $75 per person and includes Sam Adams beer as well as an assortment of wine, small dishes of local food donated by Medfield restaurants and more.

Lemonade Wars

Saturday, June 14
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

As part of this event, 14 boys will work on two teams to sell lemonade at two locations in town: Team Lemonheads will sell drinks at 3 Hospital Rd. and Team Lemonader Crusaders will sell at 45 Elm St. near the Wheelock fields. Proceeds raised will go toward a local charity (Lemonheads will donate to the Medfield Animal Shelter and Crusaders will donate to the Medfield Youth Outreach)
