Monday Essentials: Special Town Meeting Monday Night
Here's a look at what's happening this week in Medfield.
1. Medfield will hold a special town meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday night to consider a three-article warrant. The meeting is at the high school. The warrant includes two articles relating to Medfield State Hospital and the efforts of town officials to expand the town's drinking water capacity. The third article asks voters to approve a purchase of Red Gate Farm land.
2. A planning meeting for the 2014 Medfield High School graduation party will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. See the volunteer group's announcement for more details.
3. Palumbo Liquors will host its First Annual Grand Tasting event on Thursday night. The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Walpole Country Club.
4. Noon Hill Grill will host its Acoustic Hangout featuring Jennifer Tefft on Thursday. Note: it will be moved to Wednesday if the Red Sox are in a playoff game.
