- 9 a.m., Medfield Public Schools. Today is the deadline to let your child's school principal know if you do want your child's photo or name to appear in the media.

- 7:30 p.m., Tales from the Police Blotter: An Evening with former Medfield Police Chief Bill Mann, First Parish Church. Free.
- 8 p.m., Planning Board, Town Hall.
- 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Library, special hours. Library will be closed in the morning while staff attends a training.
- 5:30 p.m., Downtown Sidewalk Design & Aesthetics Study Committee
- 7 p.m., Board of Selectmen, Town Hall.

Saturday, Nov. 9
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Transfer Station Swap Area open. Will close for season on Nov. 16.
Sunday, Nov. 10
- 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Transfer Station open. Will be open Sundays during November.
