Tony Calo Recognized for Service to Medfield’s American Legion Post

Calo has served as finance officer of the Medfield Legion Beckwith Post 110 for 18 years.

Medfield’s Legion Beckwith Post 110 has been a central part of local veteran activity since 1920. The Post supports direct veteran activities such as packages to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, Veterans and Memorial Day Services, aid and comfort to patients in VA hospitals and assisting veterans in coping with major family disruptions.

Other functions that support Medfield include Legion Baseball, Seniors Christmas Luncheon, and Children’s Christmas party. To do all this and more takes effort and finances.

The Medfield Post has been fortunate to have Tony Calo, who has served as finance officer for the past 18 years. Calo has been a good steward of the Post’s funds and is known for keeping track of every penny and bank interest rate.
