PMC Medfield Kids Ride Raised $12K for the Pan-Mass Challenge

The May 15th event in Medfield raised $12,000 and to date, the PMC Kids Rids program has raised more than $3 million for the Pan-Mass Challenge.

More than 135 children raised $12,000 for the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge by riding in , on Sunday, May 15.

Children, ages four through 14 rode around Medfield High School in Medfield. The PMC Medfield Kids Ride was founded in 1998 by Ryan Wilkinson. The PMC Medfield Kids Ride held a party after the ride, which included a DJ, refreshments, and face painting. Funds raised through the PMC Medfield Kids Ride benefit the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge, which supports cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. 

PMC Kids Rides involve young people in volunteerism and charitable giving, while providing safe and fun opportunity to become involved in the PMC mission. To date, the PMC Kids Rids program has raised more than $3 million for the Pan-Mass Challenge. PMC Kids Rides sponsors include Stop & Shop and Overstock.com.
