Pet of the Week: Meet 'Riley'

As you can tell from his pictures, Riley has been a loved and cared for family dog all his life.

He is six years old and is in need of a new home due to a serious family illness that has left his family stretched too thin to care for him, according to Kim Agricola of the Medfield Animal Shelter.

"He is a typical Beagle -- a bit stubborn, but so cute he can get away with it," Agricola said. "He is housebroken, neutered and up-to-date on all of his vet care. Unfortunately, the stress of all the change in his life has affected Riley, so we want to place him in a home with no young kids, even though he lived with very young children in his previous home."
