Pet of the Week: Meet Missy and Phelps

Featuring pets available at the Medfield Animal Shelter.

Missy and Phelps are ready for adoption.

Kim Agricola of the Medfield Animal Shelter said these adorable kittens entered into the Medfield Animal Shelter's care during the Olympics, hence their names.

The orangemale kitten is Phelps, named after Michael Phelps.  The black kitten is Missy named after Missy Franklin.

"They needed a bit of socialization before they were placed in homes, so they are in a great foster home, but are now ready for a home of their own," Agricola said, adding they have already been spayed/neutered and are eager to go to their forever home.

The shelter is accepting applications for these kittens and would like to place Phelps and Missy in a home together, if possible.
