Pet of the Week: Meet 'Bam Bam'

Bam Bam is currently available for adoption at the Medfield Animal Shelter.

Bam Bam is a very handsome one-year-old classic tabby and white boy who looks and acts like the famous Japanese cat, Maru – Maru stars in many adorable videos on Youtube.

"He is friendly, outgoing, charming, and mischievous; still very kittenish in many ways," said Kim Agricola of the Medfield Animal Shelter. "He will steal toys from anyone, anywhere, at any time. He loves to launch himself into your lap, burrow his head under an arm and purr himself to sleep. He would probably be happiest in a home with other playful cats."

Bam Bam is neutered, up to date on FVRCP and rabies (April 2012) and felv/fiv negative. He has a bit of iris discoloration in one eye, but it's harmless according to the vet who examined him.

"This friendly guy likes to supervise our volunteers while they prepare his meals and will let us know if we are in the lobby that he would like us to come in and play with him," Agricola said. "He is a great cat."
